"You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul." - George Bernard Shaw

Art allows us to see inside ourselves, to learn something about people and ourselves that we would have never known otherwise. It illustrates the human experience—the wonder of it, its bewilderment and yes, the pain.

I had the honor of performing in Tracy, California this month on an unbelievable 150-year-old stage, and now I am heading to Champaign, Illinois, to perform on another 100-year-old amazing theatre. These gorgeous and iconic old theatres were used during the Vaudevillian days. Actors would travel around the country with their trunks filled with costumes, whigs, and props and pull them out to entertain audiences with laughter and imagination.

So full circle, as in Tracy and now in Champaign, and around 100 years later, I will be pulling out props (no whigs though,☺) and telling stories of courage, sacrifice and commitment to help give a voice to our Veterans and their families. To honor them and to say thank you to them.

Shining a mirror onto the soul of our nation so that we can learn and grow from that reflection we see, and to be able to look beyond.

Thank you all of our men and women who have served, who continue to serve and to your families. We can never thank you enough! And to all of you Vietnam Veterans, Welcome Home!

A few images from Tracy, California!

(Thank you Anna for unbelievable experience in Tracy!)

I got to spend some time with JTAC Special Operations Officer Jaime Medina. A incredibly decorated Air Force Veteran who served seven deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, and North Africa. He selflessly continues to serve his nation by helping those who wore the uniform and have found themselves homeless, and feel lost. He gets our Veterans off the street and helps them find employment. Jaime, you are an amazing man and a HERO to this nation!

Thank you brother and I so much enjoyed spending time with you!! He also joined me up on stage after the
Q & A.
